Teena comes from a long line of Democrats and is happy to be representing a party that upholds everything she believes in. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, when Teena was 8 years old, she and her family began visiting Hopatcong every summer, which resulted in her love for this area of the state. She is a graduate of Brooklyn's Fort Hamilton High School, and has continued her lifelong learning with training in communication skills at Helpline Inc. in Succasunna, NJ as well as computer technology at the Hopatcong Adult School.
A proud mother of 3 and grandmother of 7, she is a long time resident of Randolph, representing District 7. Professionally, she has a diverse range of experiences, including work as an independent contractor for an inventory control company, an account clerk for Merrill Lynch, a hotline worker for Helpline Inc., and the Sisterhood Corresponding Secretary for the Lake Hopatcong Jewish Community Center. For the past 15 years she has been employed as a technical services assistant for the Dover Free Public Library, where she can indulge her love of books and book clubs while helping people of all ages discover their love of reading. |
