Michelle Anderson
Vice Chair of the Randolph Democratic Committee

Michelle Anderson is interested in energizing Randolph residents to become involved in local government and make their voices heard, while championing issues such as economic enfranchisement for all, new solutions for protecting our environment, and sustainable improvements in education. 

Michelle and her husband James moved to Randolph in 2006, and she currently holds a position as an Information Manager for one of the nation’s largest Pharmaceutical companies, where she also volunteers with the Black Leadership Network and is a Steering Committee Member for the Global Research & Development Diversity Council.  She and James also served as Education Chair and Economic Chair (respectively) of the ACE of Morris County non-profit organization from 2002 to 2004.

She is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and African-American Studies, where she was nominated to the Duke President's Honor Council.  Michelle also previously served as Miss Delaware 1995, earning a Bert Parks Talent Award at the 75th Anniversary Miss America Pageant, and the
honors of being recognized as an "Outstanding Young Delawarean" nominee as well as "Delaware First State Achiever" for her commitment to community service and multicultural education. Michelle also co-owns an image consulting firm, Suited To You - Total Image Consultants, and is the Executive Co-Director of the Mrs. New Jersey Pageant.

A native of the Jersey Shore, Michelle and her husband moved to Morris County in 2000, first to Florham Park, then Morris Plains, but planting their roots in Randolph.  Over many years, she has made volunteer work and fundraising for charities one of her key activities, and has either sponsored or participated in countless events for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey, the American Heart Association of New Jersey, the Alzheimers's Association of New Jersey, the Multiple Sclerosis Society and many, many others.  She encourages all Randolph residents to get involved in charitable efforts to ensure that the essential value and services provided by these organizations continues to be available to those in need.
